@@TheWongJanice You're welcome, I really deeply enjoyed this. With an electronic cello you could record the sea at a different time than the cello and level the volumes afterwards. But this is just an idea because I have no clue if the electronic cellos sound as good as the acoustic cellos. On the other hand it would probably be overkill to buy the electronic cello just for the sea recordings. Completely different kind of music, but "The 2 Cellos" did some pretty awesome ACDC covers on their electronic cellos.

@Waldemar_la_Tendresse thanks for your thoughts on this. I have an electric cello but it doesn’t sound as nice as the acoustic/classical cello- therefore I probably have to make electric-cello music (perhaps more drones and synth-like) and move away from trying to make music sound like the classical cello..

@@TheWongJanice It's pretty good the way it is right now. Doesn't need any big changes IMHO. This was just me typing some parts of the stuff my brain spills out from time to time. 😉

@Waldemar_la_Tendresse haha don’t worry, I’m all ears. I’m pretty picky about how my cello sounds and still trying out different methods for recording live videos in nature. Eventually yes I might do an electric set-up so I don’t have to deal with the background noises!

Thanks for your thoughts. Indeed time can’t really heal, and whether anything improves at all depends on what you do with that time. For me the title of my videos are not so important but I have to include one, so I hope you can focus more on the music

@@TheWongJanice Logically, it cannot be quite so simple, as it leaves the familiar terrain, like most of Vlad Kreimer's works. However, you have probably intuitively found a good mixture of softer sounds and rather short, slightly rhythmic parts, so that it has satisfied my usually rather high qualitative demands. I think his latest creation, the Flux, might also be interesting for your work.

Ah yes, there are many settings and modes and also I was thinking of trying the ‘rhythmic’ mode soon (you install it with a USB) as then it works more like a typical looper. I personally don’t ‘get’ how to work with short rhythmical sounds so I am glad my music has satisfied you. Thanks for sharing. I did not know about the Flux!

@@TheWongJanice You're welcome. I hope my assumption that the Flux might suit you, based on the type of music you make, wasn't completely wrong. My guess is, that the arhythmic mode is way better for your ambient style of music. The sentence "You install it with a USB" somehow tells me that your music is better than your knowledge of all these things that are far too complicated anyway and unfortunately often quite pointless. But in case you need help, feel free to ping me, that shouldn't be a problem for me. In return, you can teach me something about cellos.

@@Waldemar_la_Tendresse haha yes fortunately I can play the cello and have spent hours and years on it - can’t say the same about audio tech as it’s a newer part of my craft. But yes, I might not have used the correct wording but I am nonetheless happy that I understand the concept of changing the firmware with the flash drive if needed! Thank you for the offer to help in exchange for cello knowledge. I’ll keep it in mind. Cheers
